This is a Bright Stainless Steel Electric Strike, suitable for Hollow Metal and Wood Jambs, operating on 12, 16, or 24 VAC/DC. It's Fail Safe/Fail Secure and Monitored, requiring VA7400-16VDC for 16VDC operation. It's designed for use in aluminum jambs and stiles, opening electrically under 35 lbs. of preload. Models 7400 and 7401, with 4-7/8" faceplates, are compatible with Adams Rite deadlatches or cylindrical locksets having 1/2" to 5/8" latchbolt projection.
- Safety Mode: Choose between fail-safe and fail-secure during installation
- Case Dimensions: Approximately 1" x 3-3/8" x 1-1/16" deep
- Strike Lip: 7400 model fits 1-3/4" thick doors flush with jamb edge
- Strike Opening: Adjustable to 5/8" x 1-7/16" x 1/2" deep
- Faceplate Size: Measures 1-1/4" x 4-7/8"
- Voltage Selection: Field-selectable to match 12, 16, or 24 VDC power source
- 16 VDC Adapter Required: Use P/N VA 7400-16VDC for 16 VDC operation
- AC to DC Conversion: 4603 Rectifier needed to match voltage
- AC Mode Usage: Contact factory for guidance when using in AC mode
